A Girl Who Turned To Laments

The scars were grey when she woke up
But the smiles she trusted got lost forever
The clock was screaming while she was blunt
Now the mask and skin shall be together
The taste of blood on sour teeth
The smell of ground beneath the dark trees
The sun is slowly getting diff
But her world is gone, it's catching a flee

Just watch her cry
It's not getting different
Now watch her dry
In sleep

This is the story of a girl who turned to laments
Any more fighting against her, she's not enchanted
Got lost in floods of dancing ghouls and drowned in pavement
But then the flourish of her curse turned her to laments

She still remembers yesterday
Mascara's drops are lining her cheeks
A hooded figure down the bay
A smoky dream is crawling a flick
The knive she can't get out of back
A hope; she'd never collect the last piece
So she went out to meet the cloud
The sky was bright when she and rope kissed

Just watch her cry
It's not getting different
Now watch her dry
In sleep

This is the story of a girl who turned to laments
Any more fighting against her, she's not enchanted
Got lost in floods of dancing ghouls and drowned in pavement
But then the flourish of her curse turned her to laments

Look, little girl
Your stitches are falling apart
Just look, little girl
Your heart is dancing with the stars
Don't look, little girl
Skeleton Jack is howling Halloween
Oh, someday is gone with Frankenstein

This is the story of a girl who turned to laments
Any more fighting against her, she's not enchanted
Got lost in floods of dancing ghouls and drowned in pavement
But then the flourish of her curse turned her to laments

Turned her to laments
Turned her to laments
Turned her to laments
